Bagenalstown Activity Hub is starting to form a Kayak & Stand Up Paddle Boarding Club for the community of Bagenalstown and the surrounding areas.  The proposed location is at Bagenalstown Swimming Pool lower-level units adjacent to the River Barrow.  Bagenalstown Activity Hub subcommittee is currently seeking members of the public that have an interest in participating in water sports as a recreational activity and the commitment to form & join this new initiative to create a legacy for the Bagenalstown Activity Hub and to utilise the Dormant Accounts Fund through Carlow Sports Partnership and Carlow County Council.
🚣‍♀️This Club will be for those who wish to join the Bagenalstown Kayak & SUPB Club & become a member of Canoeing Ireland, it will be for members aged 16 years and older only.
🚣However, adult members trained in the fundamentals of paddling and holding the minimum of a level 1 in kayaking or stand up paddle boarding may bring their children out on taster sessions.
