Carlow County Council Arts Service is delighted to announce a special screening of Carlow filmmaker Frank Mannion’s – “Quintessentially Irish”.
Partnering with VISUAL Carlow, the screening will take place on 21st April 2024 at 7:30pm in VISUAL.
The film was partly shot in Carlow at beauty spots such as the Brownshill Dolmen, Milford and Borris where we meet the Oscar winning actor Jeremy Irons at the Borris Festival of Writing and Ideas.
The film is directed by Carlow man Frank Mannion who looks at the influence of the Irish diaspora with exclusive access to the White House, designed by Kilkenny architect James Hoban, and the Palace of Monaco where Prince Albert II discusses his mother Grace Kelly’s Irish heritage.
