Carlow’s Biodiversity Action Plan 2023–2025 has now concluded, marking the end of a short but highly impactful three‑year period. From a Chamber perspective, its success reflects the strong sense of collaboration across Carlow, supported by engaged communities, Carlow County Council, and a wide range of partner organisations working together to deliver meaningful results.

As preparations begin for the next phase, an ambitious new Biodiversity Action Plan for 2026–2031 is already being shaped. Before this new Plan is finalised, a Review has been undertaken and is set out in the Pre‑Draft Discussion Paper.
