The Pan Celtic National Song Contest returns to Carlow, Ireland this January 2026 at the Visual & GB Shaw Theatre!
On the 24th of January, join in the celebrations of the cultural links between the Celtic nations of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, Cornwall and the Isle of Man.
Newly composed songs ‘as Gaeilge’ shortlisted from entries for this year’s national song contest will go head-to-head in this exciting live final. The composer of the winning song will receive a cash prize of €1,000 and the song will represent Ireland at the Pan Celtic International Song Contest in April ’26.
