The National Learning Network has been providing quality training courses, vocational training and employment opportunities for people with additional support needs for over 50 years. We provide specialised training programmes which are nationally recognised, accredited and assist our students to obtain employment.
At Carlow NLN we are not just about training, we can support individuals in many ways through a person centred approach, learning supports, job seeking skills, work placements, course sampling, goal setting and planning supports. We also have a continuous intake unlike other learning centres which means that individuals don’t have to start a course in September or January, instead they can start with us when they are ready.
A diverse range of individuals come to NLN to learn including people who have illness or injury, mental health challenges, learning difficulties, physical disabilities or Autism, students who are early school leavers or individuals who are returning to learn. Our courses are free and are funded by the HSE and KCETB. Upon completion of our courses students can gain a recognised QQI qualification.
