Creative Places Bagenalstown is a brand-new initiative, led by Carlow County Council Arts Service ( Carlow Arts Office )
Creative Places Bagenalstown is one of 12 Creative Places initiatives funded by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon . The initiative aims to create socially engaged art projects that are rooted in community development principles with and for the people of Bagenalstown. Creative Places Bagenalstown will support the growth of artistic and cultural capacity of the town and the surrounding municipal districts.
The Bagenalstown Creative Places Seed Fund will support the development and testing of new ideas in socially or community based art. If you have an idea that will encourage arts engagement, creativity and making work, then this Open Call is for you!
Seed funding is exactly what it means. You get the seed, plant it, and help it grow.
What we are looking for: We are looking to award grants of up to €5000 to community groups, artists and creative practitioners of all forms to create art that will happen for and with the people of Bagenalstown.
